We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join our team on our Head office team at Leicester LE67 2HS

Job Purpose:

Ensures accurate and timely sales performance analysis and predictive forecasting. The Commercial Manager is to provide actionable insights that guide sales strategy, support decision-making, and drive revenue growth. To analyse, develop, and optimise pricing strategies that maximise profitability while ensuring competitive market positioning. This role involves deep analysis of market trends, customer behaviour, and internal cost structures to ensure that pricing decisions are both data-driven and aligned with the company’s financial goals.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Reporting Working closely and partnering with the sales teams and senior leadership team to develop comprehensive reporting covering the key business KPIs and the provision of ad-hoc business reports.
  • Pricing Management Creation and ongoing management of the pricing models across the product categories. Work closely with divisional accounting teams to validate assumptions on cost and profitability.
  • Budget and Forecasting Lead the demand forecasting process based on historical data, market conditions, and Sales Team insight.
  • Transformation Project Involvement: Actively participate in key business transformation projects by leveraging analytical expertise and insights. This includes driving improvements in areas such as sales reporting, forecasting, pricing, and data management systems. The Commercial Analyst Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that data supports the change, contributes to efficiency, and drives sustainable growth.
  • Team Leadership To lead and manage a team of commercial analysts, driving high performance and fosters a collaborative, results-driven environment, ensuring the team delivers actionable insights that enhance decision-making and support the company’s growth objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Excel with ability to manipulate large volumes of data.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Detailed understanding of gross and net pricing.
  • Self-starter and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Management of assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Teamwork with both internal and external customers.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels.
  • Thorough understanding of business drivers and trading conditions.
  • Understanding company culture and processes.
