This growing business has a fantastic history and have been paving the way in their market for over a decade. We are seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their well-rounded, supportive finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, providing insights, and business partnering with key stakeholders across various internal teams. This role requires weekly travel to designated sites to build and maintain strong relationships and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the business.This role comes with an annual salary of up to £40,000.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial management for various sites and building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and KPIs, to provide insights on performance.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Ensure all monthly financial reporting is completed accurately and in line with company timelines.
  • Lead the preparation of forecasts and budgets for P&L.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with stakeholders and budget holders to monitor costs and advise on performance.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls across sites, ensuring adherence.
  • Support with internal and external audit queries.
  • Champion continuous process improvement and best practices.

Candidate Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum two years' experience preparing management accounts and month end process.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and confidently challenge assumptions.
  • Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and a focus on achieving results.
