Job Title: AV Installation Engineer

About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering cutting-edge AV solutions in commercial and corporate environments? As an AV Installation Engineer, you'll play a vital role in installing and commissioning bespoke AV systems for high-profile clients. From video conferencing to digital signage, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work with leading technologies and brands.
Key Responsibilities
AV System Installation: Install video conferencing systems, digital displays, sound systems, projectors, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX) in commercial settings.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to interpret briefs and ensure all installations meet client specifications and industry standards.
Client Training: Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to clients, ensuring they are confident with their new systems.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, stock levels, and any system issues, reporting directly to the project manager.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to ensure safe installations.
Ownership of Projects: Take full responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are satisfied with the final result.
What the client Looking For
We're seeking a talented engineer with a passion for AV technology and:
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience installing AV systems in commercial or corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of AV technologies, including video conferencing, digital signage, and networked AV solutions.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans.
Essential Qualifications:
Full UK driving licence (essential).
ECS or CSCS certification (advantageous).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
Problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills.
