Copius Group is hiring 12 Electrical Installation Technicians for an exciting 12-month project at a Converter Station in Maine, USA. As the sponsored employer, Copius Group offers this opportunity for skilled technicians to work with top-tier project teams on an international scale.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Installation Technician with Copius Group, youll play a vital role in the successful installation and commissioning of electrical systems. This role is suited for individuals experienced in handling complex electrical installations, from below-grade conduit work to sophisticated relaying systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test below-grade conduit and Ground Grid systems.
  • Interpret and work from electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Perform above-grade installations of rigid conduit and cable trays.
  • Execute cable installations and terminations with precision.
  • Install essential metering, communication, and relaying equipment, including electro-mechanical and electronic systems where applicable.
  • Carry out all phases of electrical and instrumentation installation and inspection.

Qualifications:

  • Valid electrical training certificate.
  • Expertise in high-voltage maintenance and repair practices.
  • Competent in using and maintaining electrical testing tools, including rotation meters, digital testers, amp meters, voltmeters, and meggers.
  • Knowledge of substation grounding techniques and skilled in creating equipotential work zones.
