Job Description:

My client are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Carpenter multi to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry, particularly in tennanted properties, and will be adept at handling a variety of tasks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpentry work in void properties, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
  • Carry out tasks such as carpentry, hanging doors, plumbing, tiling and plastering
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in social housing.
  • Proficiency in using various carpentry tools and machinery.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for manual labor.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
