We are assisting a leading electrical delivery partner specialising in residential projects looking for a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager for a large-scale residential development project. As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of electrical construction from initial planning and design to execution and completion, requiring excellent project management skills and extensive electrical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop detailed project plans for the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems based on BS7671.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and installation of electrical projects.
Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring that all items meet project specifications and are delivered on schedule.
Perform regular site inspections to verify the correct installation of electrical systems ensuring all electrical work meets the highest quality standards and complies with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical activities, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, including any changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment on-site.
Degree/qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Proven years of experience in electrical project management with focus on residential projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment installation, and relevant industry standards.
Proven record of accomplishments in managing complex electrical projects from inception to completion, including budget and schedule management.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.
Proficiency in electrical software and tools includingFieldview and Asite.
