The Henry Martin Group is partnering with a leading developer in the UK to assist with their search for an exceptional Document Controller. Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the ongoing success of their company.
As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in managing, organizing, and controlling all project documentation throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. You will ensure that documents are filed, tracked, and maintained efficiently, and that they comply with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Use Asite for document management, ensuring smooth upload, tracking, and version control.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to collect and distribute project-related documents.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with document control procedures, protocols, and standards.
- Perform regular audits of project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the distribution of documents to project stakeholders and ensure proper document archiving.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, project documentation, and meeting minutes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably within the construction or development industry.
- Strong experience with Asite (document management software).
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of construction project documentation requirements and industry standards.
