About the school:

Reeson Education are working with a small and community based primary school local Redbridge tube station. The head teacher is looking for a dedicated reception teacher who is going to focus on the children's education and fit well into the team. Although this school is 1 form entry, you will have plenty of support and work closely with other year group teachers including SLT to plan lessons etc. Recently graded 'good' by OFSTED, this primary school looking for someone with a background in EYFS and a passion for kickstarting the primary education.

About the role:

As a reception teacher, your role will be imperative to the children's start in education. You will have full class responsibility and additional help within class support from teaching assistants and 1:1 LSAs'. You will be responsible for lesson plans and delivery, marking and adapting, classroom behaviour and general care of the children in your class. There will be ample PPA time and opportunities to joint plan with teachers in adjacent year groups.

To qualify for this Reception Teacher post you will need:

  • UK QTS - ECT applicants are also encouraged to apply
  • UK based teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK EYFS curriculum
  • Passion for teaching and helping children to reach their full potential
  • Strong behaviour management skills in line with a positive reinforcement approach
