Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? We are seeking dedicated and strong Behaviour Support Staff to join our exceptional Secondary Provision in East London. This is a full-time role for individuals who thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment, and are committed to supporting students with behavioural needs.



What You'll Do:

  • Provide Support: Work directly with students to help them develop positive behaviours and emotional resilience, ensuring they can engage fully with their education.
  • Create Safe Spaces: Foster a nurturing environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn. Your presence will help create a calm and supportive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Partner with teachers and other support staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Monitor Progress: Keep track of student behaviour and progress, providing feedback and reporting to the leadership team to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Experience: Strong background in behaviour management, ideally within a school setting. Previous experience working with secondary students with challenging behaviours is highly desirable.
  • Resilience and Patience: You possess a calm and patient demeanour, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations while providing consistent support to students.
  • Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support the diverse needs of our students.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine commitment to improving the educational experience and outcomes for students with behavioural challenges.
