Teaching Assistant | Primary School | SEN Role | Reception | Redbridge

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a thriving SEN team and support teachers in providing high-quality education to autistic children who have just joined the school in reception.

The ideal TA will have experience working with children, including those with autism, and possess strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities- Assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment- Working 1:1 with children with autism- Helping children into play - Collaborate with the teacher to develop and implement tailored learning- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to teachers

Criteria for Teaching Assistants- Experience working with SEN children in a primary school environment, particularly those with autism- Ability to communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents- Good knowledge of SEN and supporting children with additional needs-Patient and empathetic individual
