Job scope:

We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic Clinical Deputy Manager to join a leading care team. The Deputy Manager will provide leadership and support to residents and staff in a Nursing Home.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, Senior Nurses, Care Managers, and Team Leaders, the Deputy Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality care. This role involves supporting staff development through regular supervision and annual appraisals while promoting a person-centred approach for residents.

The Clinical Deputy Manager will also deputize for the Registered Manager, including fulfilling "on-call" duties in their absence, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the leadership of the home and ensure the well-being and quality of life of all residents

Do you have?

  • RGN qualified with an active NMC pin and a passion for leadership.
  • Comfortable leading teams and driving change with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Committed to excellence and inspiring others through innovation and new ideas.
  • Hold a professional qualification in health or social care, such as Dip. SW (C.Q.S.W.), RMN, or CQS Level 5 in management.
  • Proven experience managing or holding a senior role in a busy residential care setting, with involvement in organizational projects.
