The Senior Electrical Engineer position offers a salary of circa £60,000 plus bonus, private medical, and excellent pension benefits.
This role is based in East London and requires a Monday to Friday work schedule.
The engineer will be responsible for electrical infrastructure up to 11KV and will manage a team while addressing electrical issues on site.
Candidates should have strong experience in Electrical Engineering, including familiarity with MV/LV switchgear and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
The ideal applicant should also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate practical skills on medium voltage networks.

East London

The Senior Electrical Engineer is the Duty Holder and responsible for electrical infrastructure up to 11KV. Responsible for planning the upgrade and maintenance of the medium and low voltage networks to improve the efficiency and reliability of equipment. You will be responsible for managing a team and offering assistance with any electrical issues on site.

Experience Required;

Familiarity with Health and Safety requirements.
Strong experience in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of MV/LV Switchgear, Motors, PLCs, variable frequency drives and automation to enable fault diagnosis.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
A strong electrical systems up to 11KV including power generation.
Experience supervising/managing electrical skilled personnel is required.
Good at working as part of a team and as an individual.
Able to demonstrate practical skills on medium voltage networks to a Senior Authorised Person level (or able to demonstrate equivalence).
Experience of embedded generation and distribution equipment up to 11KV.
Ability to work complex situations with minimum referral to engineering manager.
Previous experience and knowledge of SAP maintenance, procurement and finance applications.
