We are seeking a skilledElectricianto join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in a large and commercial setting (42 year old premises). Applicants will be required to undertake some plumbing work so will need to be multiskilled.
Hours of work: Fulltime - Monday to Friday 7.30am-3.30pm. Every other Saturday.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using various testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- lighting, pumps, mechanical, generator experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools
- Experience of old and new electrics
- Ability to use power tools safely
- Understanding of electrical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with power tools, electrical systems, and hand tools
