About the Role:

As a Personal Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to business owners and executives. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax advice, ensuring compliance, and optimising tax efficiency for clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior partners, providing strategic input and driving growth within the tax department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee a varied portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.
  • Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and provide proactive advice.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and industry trends.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of junior staff members.

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT (OR QBE) with a strong background in personal tax.
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of current UK tax legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
