Job Role: Cover Teacher – Primary Schools
Location: East London
Rate: £150 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Teacher to support primary schools across East London. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing high-quality education and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Responsibilities of the Cover Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons across various year groups.
• Follow existing lesson plans to maintain a consistent learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and productive space.
• Provide feedback to the school on student progress and engagement.
  • Adapt to different school settings and uphold high teaching standards.

Requirements for the Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Flexibility and confidence to work across multiple year groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
