About the Role:
We are working with a vibrant and thriving primary school in East London who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons to children aged 5-7 years old, ensuring their academic and social development. You will work closely with the school leadership team and support staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and exciting learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and development of all pupils.
Monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback to children and their parents.
Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to promote whole-school initiatives.
Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all students in your care.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent consultations as required.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a sound understanding of the National Curriculum.
Strong classroom management skills with a positive and nurturing approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
A commitment to the ongoing development of your teaching practice.
