What's the role about?

As a key member of our teaching team, you will play an integral role in shaping students' academic journey. You'll have the autonomy to create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that excite and inspire young minds while fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the Year 1/2 curriculum, ensuring that all children are fully involved in their learning and able to progress at their own pace.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe to explore, ask questions, and build new skills.
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development, fostering a love for learning and helping them develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to share ideas and best practices, and continuously improve the learning experience for your students.


What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 1/2).
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1, with the ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons for students of all abilities.
  • A passion for working with young children, with the creativity and energy to inspire and motivate them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to teaching, with a focus on professional growth and continuous improvement in practice.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.
