Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meets our fine dining standards.
  • Maintain consistency across all dishes, ensuring exceptional flavors and precise execution of Greek-inspired dishes.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team in a high-pressure environment, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate in menu development, offering creative input and staying updated with current culinary trends in Greek cuisine.
  • Uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen at all times.
  • Ensure stock management and control, minimizing waste while maintaining efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Jr Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef, preferably within a fine dining or high-standard cuisine environment.
  • Expertise in traditional Greek cuisine, with a deep understanding of flavours, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen, maintaining composure and leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior chefs.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work harmoniously with the kitchen team and other departments.
