GTEC provide compressed air solutions to industry. Our core products are air compressors, air treatment equipment, distribution products (pipework and point of use), gas generation equipment and associated services.

The right candidate must be technically minded, customer focused and be able to develop and satisfy tour customer's requirements quickly and efficiently. As well as handling inbound enquiries you will also act as a liaison between our external sales team, our customers and the servicing team to provide exceptional customer service.

You will be given on-the-job training for all of our products and services, with continuous support from our knowledgeable team.

Opportunities to progress will come quickly for the right candidate including a direct route into a Field Sales Engineer positions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Inbound enquiries and advising on spares parts / equipment
  • Preparing quotations
  • Progressing orders
  • Developing existing accounts to generate growth
  • Manage follow up of existing customers, prospects and quotations on a systematic basis
  • Build good relationships with contacts to maintain existing accounts
  • Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, invoicing
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Skills Required

  • 3 years of previous parts sales experience
  • 3 years of previous sales experience with an engineering context
  • Technically minded, engineering background preferred but not essential
  • Driven to help
  • Ability to make an impact
  • Ability to build long-term relationships
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel.

Monday to Friday

28 days holiday per (Including bank holidays)

Bonus scheme - Approx. 20% of salary OTE
