Teach Plus are currently working with a vibrant primary school in Redbridge that is committed to providing an outstanding education in a supportive and inclusive environment. The school is seeking a proactive PPA Cover Teacher to join their team this September, covering planning, preparation, and assessment time for teaching staff across Key Stage 1 and 2.

This is a great opportunity to work in a school where collaboration and creativity are encouraged, and to support the delivery of high-quality learning across a range of subjects.

As a PPA Cover Teacher you will be required to:

  • Provide high-quality cover for teachers during PPA time across various year groups
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Maintain a positive and calm classroom environment to ensure pupils continue to thrive during lessons
  • Work closely with staff to ensure consistency and smooth transitions between lessons
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, ensuring that they feel supported in their learning

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or 2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom management strategies
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to different year groups and teaching environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
  • The right to work in the UK
