Teach Plus are currently working with a vibrant primary school in Redbridge that is committed to providing an outstanding education in a supportive and inclusive environment. The school is seeking a proactive PPA Cover Teacher to join their team this September, covering planning, preparation, and assessment time for teaching staff across Key Stage 1 and 2.

As a PPA Cover Teacher you will be required to:

Provide high-quality cover for teachers during PPA time across various year groups
Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Maintain a positive and calm classroom environment to ensure pupils continue to thrive during lessons
Work closely with staff to ensure consistency and smooth transitions between lessons
Foster positive relationships with pupils, ensuring that they feel supported in their learning

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or 2
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom management strategies
Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to different year groups and teaching environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
The right to work in the UK
