SEND HLTA About the role:
We are actively looking to recruit and appoint a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced SEND HLTA. The role will involve overseeing, planning and running an alternative provision classroom alongside the Inclusion lead and qualified Speech & Language Therapist. As a HLTA you will be tasked with leading across two alternative provision groups for children with complex needs associated with ASD, with a mix of children in Years 1-4.
Successful applicants will ideally have had experience as a HLTA, delivering specific ASD interventions, understand sensory needs and approaches to communication for pupils who do not have a functional communication system.
SEND HLTA Requirements and opportunity:
- Extensive SEND experience required!
- ASD specialist or experience from within a specialist setting required!
- Scope to become a permanent fixture!
- Paid £120 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
- Graded 'Good' by Ofsted - Primary School (Mainstream)
