Our client a charity that provides healthcare support to children and young people is seeking a P/T Corporate and Community Fundraiser to join their team. Reporting to the Development Director you will take a strategic and operational lead responsibility across (South) London for the Corporate and Community Fundraising of the Charity.

Role responsibilities:

  • Work with the Development Director to develop and deliver the fundraising strategy focus on event, challenge and community fundraising in (South) London, ensuring achievement of agreed targets for net income and fundraising ratios.
  • Recruit and deploy a volunteer fundraising team.
  • Help develop regular donors/donations to the charity.
  • Run fundraising events and challenges and gain maximum support and participation from the community.

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with strong IT skills.
  • Excellent at partnership development, including within the Corporate Sector.
  • Organise fundraising events and challenges and gain maximum support and participation from the local community.
  • Recruit, manage and support a small but growing team of volunteer fundraisers and local ambassadors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, target driven individual who is keen to develop a career within fundraising. Whilst experience in fundraising would be advantageous, we would love to hear from people with transferable skills and experience.You must have a proactive mindset with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities. This position is initially fully remote based, but hybrid working can be made available.
