Academics is partnering with an outstanding nursery school in the Borough of Greenwich to recruit an experienced SENCO, Assistant Head, or Deputy Headteacher for this interim role. You'll be responsible for all Designated Safeguarding Lead duties for a 3 to 6-month period. The nursery is linked to the main primary school through a shared executive headteacher, and you'll collaborate with a large senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the education and training sector.
The nursery caters to children aged 2 to 4 and offers an exciting curriculum that fosters growth and development. Full-time and half-day places are available, and the nursery has received excellent parent feedback, reflected in its consistently outstanding OFSTED reports. The EYFS team is dedicated to making learning fun, and the facilities are excellent.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in inclusion. A SENCO qualification or proven experience in a senior leadership role within a primary or large nursery school is essential. EYFS experience is advantageous but not essential.
