ERSare working with a PRU in Redbridgewho are looking for Behaviour Mentors to work with them starting in September, to help support their students from Y7- Y11.This role would run until the end of the academic year in July 2024, on a full-time basis.
In this role you will be supporting their students on a 1:1 basis and in groups, that have Social and Emotional Mental health needs and high anxiety around school, leading to challenging behaviours. Due to the needs of the children it would be desirable if you have previous experience working within a similar position.
The school is looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic candidateswho are eager to learn, develop and help students grow. As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to use your initiative to help best support them and the class teacher.Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
