Your role as a Business Studies Teacher will involve creating dynamic and educational lessons that delve into different business areas. You'll aid students in honing their critical thinking abilities, grasping business fundamentals, and gearing up for their professional futures.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate captivating Business Studies lessons that push students to excel.
  • Encourage students to dive into and broaden their understanding of business concepts like marketing and finance.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that builds confidence and encourages participation.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Offer consistent, constructive feedback to students and their families regarding academic progress.
  • Equip students for exams, practical assessments, and real-world business scenarios.
  • Engage with the broader school community through Business Studies-related extracurricular activities.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in business education and curriculum changes.
  • Work together with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and support school initiatives.
  • Keep meticulous records of student achievements and progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a degree in Business Studies or a related subject.
  • Previous experience as a Business Studies Teacher is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of business principles, such as marketing, economics, and finance.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging, thought-provoking lesson plans and activities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • An understanding of the UK education system and relevant curriculum standards.
