About the Role:
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that not only meet national curriculum standards but also challenge and motivate our students. You will play a crucial role in cultivating a deep understanding of business principles and entrepreneurial skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative and engaging lessons in Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Inspire students through real-world applications of business concepts and critical economic principles.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, offering tailored support and resources to maximize their success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to guide their development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Business Studies curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest industry trends.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and independent thinking.
- Lead and participate in extracurricular activities, such as business clubs and competitions, to enhance student engagement.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in business education.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and high-achieving learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with the wider school community through extracurricular initiatives.
