• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s success.

• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of achieving it.

• A degree in Sociology or a related subject.

• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
