Responsibilities of an ECT Sociology Teacher:-
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.

Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s success.

Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of achieving it.

A degree in Sociology or a related subject.

Passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.

Strong classroom management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
