Graduate Teaching Assistant Must have some experience of working with school aged children

Location: Newham

Hours: Full-time, Term-time

Payrate: £85-£100 per day

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking first class or upper second class graduates with previous experience of working with school aged children. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain classroom experience, and make a positive impact on students' lives. You will work closely with teachers and the wider school community to create a supportive, inspiring learning environment where students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities in various settings, including whole-class, small group, and one-to-one support.
• Promote and uphold high academic and behavioural standards.
• Mentor and guide pupils in building self-confidence and setting future aspirations.
• Collaborate with staff to help every pupil succeed.
• Assist and lead learning activities, developing the skills to teach full classes in the future.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree, ideally 2:1 or above.
• A minimum of two references and an Enhanced DBS Certificate are required.
• A committed and proactive attitude towards working with young people.
• Ability to stay positive and composed in challenging situations.
• Experience in a primary school setting is preferred but not essential.
