The successful Mathematics Teacher will be expected to teach Maths up to A level and should have recent teaching experience in at least one KS3 or KS4. They will be expected to contribute significantly to the departments academic enrichment and futures programme, including supporting students with their applications for highly competitive university courses.

Mathematics Teacher Job Specification:

  • Has a strong degree in Maths or related discipline
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 or KS4
  • Further education in Maths (desirable)
  • A passion for Maths and willingness to engage with Maths beyond the classroom
  • An understanding of working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to improve student achievement
  • A strong work ethic and high levels of personal organisation
  • A passion for teaching and learning, sharing good practice and exploring innovative teaching strategies
  • A commitment to supporting the academic life of the College in Years 7-11
