We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Ilford. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and implement engaging and effective psychology lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Assess and Evaluate: Regularly assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate: Work with colleagues to develop and share best practices and participate in departmental and staff meetings.
  • Student Support: Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for the role.
  • Degree in Psychology or related field: A strong academic background in psychology.
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time and resources effectively.
