We are seeking an Outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN school located in the vibrant and diverse borough of Hackney. Our school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, and we are proud of our Outstanding rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assist with toileting and personal care for pupils, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Adapt and modify resources to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support the overall well-being of our students.
Requirements:
- Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant is highly desirable.
- Comfortable and confident in providing personal care and toileting assistance to pupils.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic school environment.
