About the Role

As a Computing and ICT Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of tech-savvy students, equipping them with the essential skills they need to thrive in the digital age. You will design and deliver engaging, innovative lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding of computer science concepts. Staying up to date with the latest technological advancements, you’ll bring cutting-edge knowledge into the classroom and help to create a forward-thinking curriculum in collaboration with your colleagues.

What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who:

  • Is an outstanding practitioner with experience in teaching ICT/Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Has a passion for digital literacy and computing, and a desire to inspire students to engage with these subjects
  • Is creative and proactive, bringing fresh ideas and energy to the classroom
  • Can monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement
  • Is motivated to help students achieve their full potential in Computer Science, supporting them in their academic and personal development

Role Requirements:

  • A strong ability to educate and inspire students in Computer Science, with a focus on practical and theoretical knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (subject to checks)
  • Full-time, permanent position starting January 2025
  • Open to ECTs, QTS, and unqualified teachers with relevant experience
  • A full employment/education history on your CV, with explanations for any employment gaps
  • The legal right to work in the UK without restrictions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4
