Teaching Assistant- Tower Hamlets
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a devoted team of staff in a school in Tower Hamlets starting in September. The successful applicant will support pupils with a range of roles in and out the classroom, helping them to excel both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Nurture pupils in developing lifelong, transferrable skills.
Assist in providing general classroom and smaller group support.
Create a rapport with parents and track student progress.
Support the emotional and social development of pupils.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Good behaviour management skills.
Good interpersonal skill and knowledge of best practices.
Eager to support students academically and emotionally.
Ability to work in a team collaboratively to ensure pupil progression academically and emotionally.
Enthusiastic about supporting pupils with a genuine passion for teaching and supporting children.
About the Role:
Teaching Assistants should have a positive attitude towards pupils and aid them in achieving success and excelling in the classroom. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate assertiveness and good behaviour management as well as a passion in supporting pupils Candidates ideally should have some previous experience in working in classroom settings. Candidates should also be able to provide support to pupils of varying abilities.
Our primary schools in Tower Hamlets are dedicated in supporting students thrive in an environment that nurtures them in reaching their goals. Through positive relationships among teachers, support staff, leaders, parents/carers, and students, we aim for educational and personal success for all our pupils. Most of our schools are accessible via public transport and parking is not typically readily available.
