We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 class in Hackney. What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in schools, particularly in Key Stage 2.
  • A background in managing and supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with behavior and learning needs, both individually and in small groups.

  • Implementing behavior support plans and working collaboratively with the SENCO and class teacher.
  • Encouraging the development of key social and emotional skills, building pupils' confidence and resilience.
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
