Remedy Education are currently working with a Primary School in Lewisham that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in their Year 5 class that requires close support to help manage their behaviour within class.

You will be working closely with the child to help keep them engaged within lessons and activities to support their development. It would be very desirable if you have previous experience working within a Key Stage 2 setting previously.

This school has great transport links and they work hard to provide an environment where children can be excited to learn and curiosity is welcomed!

This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to 110 per day. The role is to start ASAP until July 2025, on a full-time basis.

What the school are looking for in their Teaching Assistants:

  • Experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
