You will be specifically focused on modifications, strip and replace of door and doors components on modern EMU stock within a maintenance depot. This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to complete the following:* Work from written instruction (VMI)* Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements* Removal of interiors and body sides* Refitting, Seats, Grab Rails, Poles etc.* Replacing mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawingsPerson Profile:You will be a highly self-motivated individual as training to develop will be given to these individuals. Attitude and enthusiasm is key for this role you should be able to follow detailed instructions as an eye for details is key to this role. Following on the job competency based training you will be able to work under your own initiative. Candidates from the following background will be considered:* Rolling Stock* HGV and PCV Technicians* Plant Maintenance * Audio Visual Engineers* Engineering Services Maintenance * Rail* RAF, REME, Army, NavyIdeal applicants would have had some maintenance, servicing or fitting experience on vehicle types ranging from Cars to Aeroplanes.
