You will be specifically focused on modifications, interior strip and replace on modern Aventra Stock within a mid-sized heavy maintenance depot. This position is the key focal point for the safe and reliable running of the fleet and is a key requirement against the Service Agreement (SA). This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to complete the following:* Work from written instruction (VMI)* Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements* Removal of interiors and body sides* Rebuilding on the vehicle sides* Refitting, Seats, Grab Rails, Poles etc.* Remove large components such as axle boxes, bogies, valves and couplers* Replacing mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawingsPerson Profile:You will be a highly self-motivated individual as training to develop will be given to these individuals.
