We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who has strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will provide administration support for Barnardo's Trading - New Goods team. The role is for 36.25 hours a week and the working pattern is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in Barkingside Barnardo's Head Office.

Initial Specific Responsibilities

As the successful applicant you will have opportunity to be involved in:

  • Managing the Purchase Orders in D365
  • Co-ordinate new supplier registration, due diligence checks and retention processes
  • Support to implement and maintain best practices on supplier registration, managing deliveries and Purchase Order process.
  • maintain necessary documentation related to external suppliers and new product testing and quality checks
  • Working with retail store colleagues and various other teams on a daily basis
  • manage store deliveries and communications with the retail team, stores and external suppliers to make sure the stock is receipted by the relevant stores on agreed time
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the stock booked in the EPOS system across all stores
  • Solve problems related to New Goods deliveries directly with stores/ suppliers to ensure the accuracy of stock booking process
  • Report on New Goods sales on a weekly basis as required
  • Taking part in different tasks/projects initiated by the New Goods team
