The Role

We are a well-established, highly regarded law firm, looking to appoint a Senior Solicitor to our growing team.

You will provide expert legal advice, manage a caseload and supervise junior solicitors. Your role will focus primarily on Immigration Law, but experience in Family Law and Civil Litigation is also welcome.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in Immigration Law (Essential), Family Law (Considered), and Civil Litigation (Considered) cases.
  • Supervise and manage a caseload, delegating tasks to junior solicitors and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Lead and manage a team of paralegals/solicitors, ensuring high professional standards, continuous development, and effective collaboration.
  • Engage with potential clients, convert leads into clients, and build strong relationships through effective communication and tailored legal solutions.
  • Utilise LEAP case management software to organise, track, and manage cases efficiently.
  • Use CRM software for effective lead tracking, follow-up, and conversion, ensuring a streamlined process from initial enquiry to client onboarding.
  • Contribute to developing the firm’s strategic direction in practice areas, ensuring that team goals align with the broader objectives of the firm.

The Person

  • Must be a Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
  • Demonstrated experience in Immigration Law (Must), Family Law (Considered), Civil Litigation (Considered) and experience in any other areas of law is considered.
  • Proven Team Leading and Management Skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
  • Strong ability to supervise and delegate caseloads efficiently.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems for lead management.
  • Proficiency with LEAP case management software is essential.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills focusing on converting leads into long-term clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
