Remedy Education is seeking experienced ASD Teaching Assistants for long-term positions starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to support schools in providing care and assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for children with ASD and SEN.
  • Assist teachers with day-to-day teaching and learning activities.
  • Support personal care tasks where required.
  • Collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe and productive environment.
  • Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding, child protection, behaviour management, and health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with ASD and associated challenging behaviours.
  • A minimum of 3 months' experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.
