Reed Legal are looking to recruit a Family Paralegal on the behalf of a small but welcoming Law Firm based in Ilford.

Duties…

  • Regularly interacting with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer questions.
  • Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Drafting legal documents such as forms, letters, petitions, motions, pleadings, agreements, and affidavits.
  • Organizing and maintaining case files, including evidence and correspondence.
  • Preparing and filing documents with the court.
  • Identifying and preparing witnesses for court appearances.
  • Assisting in the discovery process, including gathering and reviewing documents and evidence.
  • Helping prepare for trials, including organizing exhibits and trial notebooks.

Experience needed…

  • A minimum of one years experience working as a Paralegal in a family law department
