Your responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Work 1:1 with a Year 10 student, providing emotional and academic support.
- Assist in lessons, helping the student stay engaged and motivated.
- Implement strategies to manage behaviour and support social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create a positive learning environment.
- Be a role model for resilience and perseverance.
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology Degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills.
- A passion for working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- A strong desire to progress within education and make a meaningful impact.
- relevant experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
- Location: Chingford, Waltham Forest, London
- Pay: £96-£100 daily via PAYE (including holiday pay)
- Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term until July 2025
- Start Date: ASAP
