Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)| Commercial Property Services / Maintenance | Ilford, East London | 38,000 - 40,000

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer? Are you qualified in either an Electrical or Mechanical disipline? Are you experienced within commerical property maintenance / property services? Would you be interested in a full time, static role in Ilford?

Due to expansion of the team, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical / MechanicalMaintenance Engineer to work on a commercial site based in Ilford, East London,

You will be working independantly, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance dutieswith the support of a mobile engineer across a static healthcare environment.

Package:

  • Basic Salary: 38,000 - 40,000 per annum
  • Up to 4.5K in salary allowances: 1,500 per AP course passed (MedGas, Electrical AP, LVAP, Mechanical Pressure Systems AP).
  • Paid overtime available at x1.5 - x2 rates
  • Call Out Rota 1 in 3 weeks. 150 per week standby. Sites are un-maned over-night and call outs on the contract non frequent.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension etc.

Duties:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance across electrical / mechanical / hvac equipment within the commercial building.
  • Updating log books / CAFM system with job notes and updates on works.
  • Liaising with the client to provide updates on works.

Requirements:

  • Must be qualified to City and Guilds standard in Electrical or Mechanical disipline.
  • Must have experience within commercial building services / maintenance.
  • Experience in healthcare environments / hospitals would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Able to legally workin the UK.
