Experienced Industrial Maintenance Engineer Needed
Leading manufacturer of high-precision optics and accessories is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for maximizing production time at their manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on mechanical and some electrical repairs on various industrial machines
- Operate manual lathes, mills, and drills to create bespoke tools and components
- Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns
- Diagnose faults and create specialized components as needed
- Manage related supplies and equipment
- Assist with building maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing/production environment
- Experience as a manual machinist
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety standards
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
