£48,000 + Overtime

Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for an 2 new maintenance engineers to join their processing & manufacturing team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all industrial process & production equipment, conveyors, mixers, bucket elevators, belts, chains, rotating equipment, PLC's
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns & overhauls
- Working on motors, pumps, compressors, valves, gearboxes, drives, bearings, shafts, actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment
- Improving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work
- Monitor contractors on site
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - mechanical biased
- HNC or HND qualified, time served apprenticeship
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills
- Previously have dealt with industrial processing & equipment and manufacturing systems
- Must have worked in an industrial manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures
- Must have worked on motors, pumps, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes
- Experience of using SAP would be beneficial
- Advantageous if worked with PLC systems
- Any experience of working in an ATEX / CompEX environment would be great
