The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
? Planned Preventative Maintenance - Keeping machinery running smoothly to minimise downtime.
? Breakdown Response - Reacting swiftly to faults, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
? Fault Diagnosis & Repair - Troubleshooting and fixing electrical and mechanical issues.
? Continuous Improvement - Identifying ways to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.
? Collaboration - Working closely with the production team to maintain seamless operations.
What You'll Need
Technical Expertise - Strong electrical skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems.
Qualifications - Electrical apprenticeship, HNC, HND, ONC, or equivalent.
Experience - Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG).
Health & Safety Awareness - A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Problem-Solving Skills - A proactive, analytical mindset to resolve technical challenges effectively.
