Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing and electro / mechanical tasks to meet clients' requirements.
Main Duties
Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8. This is a mobile role, travelling to client sites and completing the necessary tasks to maintain compliance.
Water Hygiene Engineer are to maintain our customer's water log-books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
Water Hygiene Engineer are to take a variety of water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with company procedures.
Water Hygiene Engineer are to carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.
Water Hygiene Engineer will need to have the ability to complete works on heating and chilled water systems and chlorine dioxide systems is desirable but not essential.
What we are looking for
- Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment is essential.
- We welcome applicantswith limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
