Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Technical Engineering Manager to be a key part of our London team, representing our client and working onsite at a leading multinational professional services network.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Technical Engineering Manager to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities;
Work in parallel with onsite AV Manager at Canary Wharf on a day to day basis.
Responsible for underpinning the AV service from a technical perspective in collaboration with Client DWP / IT Teams and relevant 3rd party / manufactures.
Management of AV Software / firmware including but not limited to;
o Monthly reviews with manufactures
o Present quarterly updates to client stakeholders (including EOL dates & security patches)
o Manage change control via client protocols
o Oversee UK roll outs including scope of works
o Coordinate works with all teams
o MI reports post works
Actively manage AV Assets & CMBD including but not limited to:
o Onboarding /offboarding of assets
o Asset tagging
o Tracking all configurable items (CIs)
o Management of software / firmware versions
o EOL dates
o Serial numbers
o Warranty dates
o Management of system schematic updates as necessary
o Maintaining data integrity
o Updating of security passwords as required and in line with the client change control process.
o Actively monitor estate via remote support monitoring platforms.
o Provide level 3 technical support for incidents.
o Support engineers in remote locations as required.
o Liaise with VNOC & manufactures to provide site specific information to facilitate diagnosis and repair.
o Attend meetings as required to scope out EOL & technical roadmaps with the client
o Travel to client UK sites if required.
o Review PMV reports as and when completed and update CMBD.
o Assist with BAU in-house installations, including handover to client and project sign off.
o Manage and direct new site / project on boarding into Service.
o Administration necessary to support Technical Manager / engineering role.
Oversee UK power downs, including but not limited to:
o Coordination of resources
o Responsible for permits / RAMs
o Coordination with regional offices / 3rd parties
o Defining scope of works
o Mi reporting back to the client post works
o Manage UK critical spares.
Experience/Qualifications;
o Strong IT Networks experience
o IT literate, understand network architecture and structured cable infrastructures.
o CompTIA or equivalent
o QSYS / DSP equivalent
o ITIL
o NEC
o Lightware
o Microsoft / MTR UC
o Utelogy
