You will be specifically focused on modifications, interior strip and replace on modern Aventra Stock within a mid-sized maintenance depot. This position is the key focal point for the safe and reliable running of the fleet and is a key requirement against the Service Agreement (SA). This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to complete the following:* Work from written instruction (VMI)* Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements * Remove large components such as axle boxes, bogies, valves and couplers* Replacing components to correspond to engineering drawings Person Profile:You will be a highly self-motivated individual as training to develop will be given to these individuals. Attitude and enthusiasm is key for this role you should be able to follow detailed instructions as an eye for details is key to this role. Following on the job competency based training you will be able to work under your own initiative. Candidates from the following background will be considered:* Rolling Stock* HGV and PCV Technicians* Plant Maintenance * Audio Visual Engineers* Engineering Services Maintenance * Rail* RAF, REME, Army, NavyIdeal applicants would have had some maintenance, servicing or fitting experience on vehicle types ranging from Cars to Aeroplanes.
